Dear Pedestrian and Your Pedestrian Friend,
When leaving a store and crossing the street in front of the store to get your car in the parking lot, it's helpful to drivers who have to wait for you to cross the street if you would go straight across and then over to your car as opposed to as the crow files. While we used that a lot in math class, in the real world you're just irritating people and slowing down traffic. See illustration.

Ugggghhh... hate those people. Also hate the people who walk down the center of the parking aisle at stores. PICK A SIDE people or prepare to get run over. LOL

as a pedestrian, I totally know what you're talking about. It drives me nuts when others take their time walking in front of cars, even if the pedestrian has the right of way. I live in NYC so it's a daily fight - person vs car and quite frustrating. While Peds aren't perfect, it's the city buses and other drivers who run blazing red lights that drive me crazy!

I HATE diagonal walkers! That's what my hubby and I call them. He'll start doing it and I just freak! I'm like, HONEY!!! You're beng a diagonal walker! It's the worst of curse-words.
Oh my Gah. You have one of my worst pet peeves right there. And the sense of entitlement that exudes from these clueless people is ridiculous. I tend to counter with, if you don't like the way I drive, stay off the sidewalk.
Yes! Can we just get signs like this made to put up in parking lots around the world?!?

LOL...I so agree OR what about the ones who have no concept of time...they walk as if they had molasses stuck up their butt...and then have the audacity to look at you as IF!
