Sailor's Newborn Shoot

On June 7th, five days after the birth of Sailor, we had Jonathon & Sharon of Jonathon Campbell Photography stop by for Sailor's newborn shoot.  They were so brilliant and patient, waiting to get the right shot and molding little Sailor for a good shot!  And, what kind of mommyblogger would I be if I didn't share some of the amazing photos?  One that deserved to go to bed without dinner, that's what!  Sharon was awesome enough to send me the photos I wanted to show on my blog.  I wanted to show more, but didn't want to ask for too much!  Jonathon put some on his blog, some not seen here, and I stole one from there that I didn't originally ask for.  Shh, don't tell.  So, without further ado, here they are:

(her initials, when formally done, spell "SHE")
The photos above her are all of my grandparents, her great-grandparents.

What a great idea! They're so mushy in the beginning. We took to calling Nate "Squishy"... and we still do. LOL Those pictures are sooo precious. And you're brave for doing photos so soon after the birth. I still felt schleppy at that point.

Hi Liza!

Thanks for dropping by and commenting! Take loads and loads of pictures when you can! Babies grow up so fast! Your baby is just so cute and beautiful! I love the 1st picture of her in her crib. Such a tiny precious princess!

Oh, no, I totally felt schleppy. Tom fell asleep sitting up on the couch during the first part of the shoot. I barely even put on makeup.

I already have enough photos to drive myself insane when I get to the point of picking just a few for a photo album!

Liza,
So many things to say in one comment. First off we are no 31DBBB buddies attached at the hip given that we only post when the other does. It's actual kismet. OK maybe just a tad bit luck, but maybe not. You never know.

Now on to your daughter: love her name! She is gorgeous. I love these photos. We had a photographer come when Addison was born and those pictures are still the most dear to our heart 17 mo later. It's too bad we couldn't afford to have done that when we had the boys. You can see my favorite one on my about page.

Lastly, you look magnificent for having just had a baby.

Congrats to you on your beauty.

The last photo gave me tingles...seriously, all the family lineage, and there she is at the bottom of it, a precious bundle. I love it!

Great pictures!
