Caught in the Crosshairs

Have you ever noticed that Target seems to have its own gravitational pull, particularly the “super” version? And that it’s SERIOUSLY strong? Back in the pre-teen years, it was the opposite. As mom tried to pull you in for new school clothes, the thought of wearing them was so unappealing it was as if a gigantic mixed martial artist who wailed on you with both his fists and feet simultaneously, hitting harder as you got closer to the entrance. You came out bruised and battered, praying to God that you never had to go through that again.

And one day, it happened.

All of a sudden, it was COOL to reply to a compliment with, “Target.”

And it only got worse. First it started with clothes, the occasional purse. And then, “Oh, while we’re here, wanna look in the home goods section? Maybe check out some bath towels?”

Target is so cool. They really do have everything I need and everything I don't need, but will want eventually.

Let me ask you this though. Lately, they seem to be using this scented cleaner for the floors here in the Vegas area. And honestly, it smells like vomit. Nastiness with a hint of sick sweet. I visited the one near my Mom in California and I don't recall that odor. It really is off putting, because I could spend DAYS there. At least that smell gets me in and out quickly. Wondering if you've noticed anything in your neck of the woods?

I LOVEEE Target and I know what you mean about that gravitational pull; although I think I now have an addiction. Sometimes I just go in there to just to browse around and I can NEVER leave there without buying something UNLESS I really am on a mission for an item.

What's even harder to resist are their $1 bins!

HA!

Happy SITS to you!

I love Target - especially now that I know how to use a regular coupon with a Target coupon to get things nearly free! I guess I am old - there were no targets within a 3-hour drive of me growing up - not until after I graduated college! Now I have to go look up when Target was launched to see if I really was just living under a rock or not....

Target is so addicting! It's no longer the most accessible place for me to get my groceries, which is probably a good thing...I'm way too tempted when I go there!

What? You can use regular coupons? And the combine with a Target coupon? OH MY!

It's tempting, isn't it? So many things, so little time! (And, the more you buy, so little money!)

you TOTALLY can use a store coupon and manufacturer coupon on the SAME item! For example, you can print a $.50 coupon from Target's site for SoBe. You can also play a game on SoBe.com where you can easily win a buy 1 get 1 free coupon. SoBe is on sale for $1 each. Use a $.50 plus BOGO (the $.50 coupon says one per transaction so technically you should only use one, however, many cashiers will allow you to use more than that - still just 1 store coupon per item) to get SoBe for$.25 each!
