This week's giveaway is brought to you by: My Baby Clothes Boutique
I first met a lovely representative of this lovely company back in January at Blissdom '11. And why do I say she was lovely? Because immediately upon exchanging pleasantries and "what do you do in the blogging world" chatter, she gave me a card and said, "Contact me. We'll send you something and do a giveaway on your blog."
UM...HELLO? YES. The answer to that would be YES. Not that it was even a QUESTION, but you get it.
And I would have done this giveaway MONTHS ago, but I couldn't decide what I wanted to order! There were entirely too many cute things! Outfits, hats, tuts, headbands, shoes! Just LOOK at this! And these are just FOUR things out of PAGES and PAGES!
I first ordered one little sailor-looking outfit (appropriate, eh?) in a 12-18 months and it was GIGANTIC. I learned FAST that the sizes run a little big. If you see something in a range (i.e. "12-18" or "6-9" months) it's highly likely that it runs at the top of the scale, perhaps pushing a little further. I was sure the 12-18 month outfit wouldn't fit Sailor until she was about 2. It was super cute, though! Check it out:
A little large, eh? But the people at My Baby Clothes Boutique were FANTASITC and completely understood and wanted us to have something Sailor could wear now! We sent this cuite outfit back, choose a completely new one (because by then they'd had a new line out and, again, too many adorable things to choose from), and received it within the week.
Here was our final choice: Petit Ami Pink Gingham Bubble
As you can see, it's uber cute. It's brilliantly airy for summertime, but you could easily put a long or short sleeved tee underneath. If you look, you can see the straps on the back have a second hole so you can shorten the straps. The fabric is light and soft. Sometimes with the cutest of outfits you sacrifice (a little bit) the comfort of your baby so he/she can look achingly sweet, but that's not the case here. Sailor was playing and crawling around like crazy - she might as well have been naked as far as she was concerned!
Before the outfit arrived, I was on their website showing my mom what I had picked when we came across this decadent number: Zilly Bean Ocean Blue Tutu Dress (they come in other colors, too.)
And we KNEW we had to get it for a friend who's baby practically LIVES in stuff like this. And when it arrived, it was BEAUTIFUL. And it came with the matching headband. Although Sailor is not the schmancy mancy baby that would prance around in this, I'm not gonna lie, if I lived near a beach I would TOTALLY purchase one and go take these exact same shots.
OK! ON TO THE GIVEAWAY!
